Life as a woman can be H A R D.
We are precariously juggling so many things in the air at once it truly is no surprise that women's health is in crisis. Over-committed, multi-tasking and stretched to the limit women are drowning in stress induced burn-out, exhaustion and a plethora of health issues now more than ever before.
Where is your breaking point?
What does your soul whisper and yearn for in the still and quiet moments?
How much are you going to push before the small cracks become deep fissures?
What happens when the only way to go is IN...
I have been a little quiet of late. I haven't pressed publish on a Blog post for some time and haven't been hanging around Social media as much either.
I have needed space.
LOTS of space...
Space to listen, to slow down, to get really quiet and BE with all of myself - not just the 'nice' bits.
The magnetic pull I have experienced to radically course correct has been so strong that I couldn't have resisted it no matter how hard I tried!
Navigating CHANGE without a map.....
Change is undeniably one thing about our human experience that is inevitable....yet we can spend hours, days, weeks and even years struggling with letting change actually unfold in our world without a fight.
We cling, grasp, attach, and hold on for dear life to what we know (or think we know) because the mere thought of the unknown can bring us quickly and quite forcibly to our knees.
We live lives that are detached, unfulfilling, disconnected, soul-less, empty, adventure-less, dull and a tad too structured and over-analysed.
Spontaneity can become sporadic as we try our hardest to control all manner of things, but in the end the pursuit is pointless.
Only when we deeply understand that none of it is in our control - that our strong attachments will lead us to suffering - can we truly find freedom and what I believe is the source of a peaceful, happy and content life.
What do you think?
5 ways to SHINE your light bright...
Within us resides our very own, highly unique and ever-lasting light.
A bright spark of divinity that is part of who we are beyond the physical body we inhabit.
It is my belief that our greatest purpose here is to deeply align with our truth, acknowledge our innate gifts and then to generously share them with the world for the service of all (which of course includes ourself)
To lovingly shine our light out into the world for all to experience it's radiance - and to receive unconditionally the light of others in whatever form it manifests.
But what does it really mean to shine?
What does it feel and look like?
Embodying the Feminine
For the past 6 weeks I have been on what can only be described as one of those journey's that change you forever.
Each Thursday evening, me and 20 brave women have come together to intimately explore what it is to truly 'embody' the feminine.
We have gathered in scared circle, peeled away the layers, masks and roles we identify with out in the world and allowed ourselves to be authentically, genuinely and vulnerably seen by the other women sharing the journey.
Every week we dove a little deeper, let go a little more and explored a practise that would help us access the inner, most hidden part of ourselves that may have been denied for way to long.
